After living in the Verde Valley for 17 years, this was the first time I have been to this Parade in Camp Verde. Before, I was always riding the Harley and had no time for the simple things in life. This parade demonstrated the good things about America and I was proud to be there. I remember parades in Escondido, California, where I grew up, but I had forgotten about the gathering of Americans to salute our flag and socialize with our neighbors. It was a great experience and one we should all be eager to do. God Bless America!
There is truly something special about a small town parade. I can’t wait for the Christmas parade…I am going to put a small generator in the back of the Yamaha Rhino and deck that puppy out in Christmas lights with a Santa on the roof!
